Listen to Mumford & Sons Cover Alt-J’s Tessellate

I love BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, in that they have a segment where the band in studio covers a song by another popular band. I wish this happened more often in live shows. Anyway, these sessions are pretty much always a treat, and today was no different. Fresh off their appearance on Saturday Night Live, Mumford & Sons were in the studio, after last night’s gig as part at the iTunes Festival.

Mumford & Sons chose to cover Tessellate by Alt-J. The version is quite excellent, and Alt-J just gave props to it on Twitter. Give it a listen below.
