Watch! Strange Talk – Cast Away

A nice synth-heavy, poppy track for your Monday listening. The band are Strange Talk and they are a four-piece from Melbourne, Australia. Their debut album won’t come out until 2013, but that doesn’t mean we can’t dance in anticipation ahead of time.

Our first taste of them comes in the form of Cast Away, which would’ve made the gloomy Tom Hanks movie of the same name a lot more upbeat. The band have a short US tour in October ahead of their album release. Cast Away is a very danceable, 80s sounding, slice of pop heaven. The video also has an E.T. meets Goonies feel to it.
