Watch! Sigur Rós – Dauðalogn

Another day, another video segment from Sigur Rós’ Mystery Film Experiment. You’ve hopefully seen a few of these interesting arty music videos from the Icelandic band’s latest album, Valtari. The latest, and greatest eighth, instalment is for the Sigur Rós song Dauðalogn.

The video feels like you’re watching National Geographic or BBC’s Planet Earth series. Beautiful landscapes are shown, which were filmed in the primeval forest of Yakushima, a remote island in southern Japan, as noted on the band’s website. I wish I could’ve passed that off as information I knew just from watching the film, but I’m too honest nice afraid of lawyers. The next instalment is out on September 24.
