Watch! The Hives – Go Right Ahead

The Hives were one of those “the” bands in the beginning of the last decade who were part of the garage rock revival. Being from Sweden, they were ignored at times and they were awfully different. From their slightly weird lyrics and song titles (likely due to English being a second language), to their strange yet can’t-take-your-eyes-off-of-it live shows, the Hives did their best to stay relevant. They even recruited Timbalake for their last record, which was way back in 2007.

The band’s newest album is out on June 5 and is called Lex Hives (see what I mean about weird titles). The band have given us a first look at their new video – and hey, they have top hats! Go right ahead and check out the video for, um, Go Right Ahead.
