Eminem Being Sued By Some Homeless Bum, Might Be Vanilla Ice

Remember that Chrysler commercial (Born of Fire) that Eminem filmed? Well, neither do I, and I bought a Chrysler because Eminem was schilling it. Well, Stephen Lee Pieck (“homeless”) claims he was having dinner with Christina Aguilera and ex-husband Jordan Bratman when Aguilera called Eminem and Pieck was handed the phone and came up with the “Born of Fire” idea (via NME).

Pieck writes in his lawsuit, “I want the court to reward me a judgment in the amount of $9 million. I designed every aspect of the commercial and the commercial was stolen from me. In addition, I did not receive compensation in monetary terms for the work I did.”

Sounds a lot like Homer Simpson’s brother, Herb, who invented Powell Motors and then ended up broke and living in the streets. Pieck does say “d’oh” and “mmmm, donut” an awful lot.

Dave Grohl Producing Rock Sitcom, Will Definitely Be a Hit (in my house)

Is there anything Dave Grohl can’t do? If you told me he gave birth to rock triplets, I’d not only believe it, I’d be the father run it as a headline. To be fair, so would every other media outlet. Anyway, comedian Dana Gould is writing a half hour comedy show for FX and Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl has signed on as the executive producer (via Rolling Stone). The show is about a rock band (enter Dave Grohl’s advice) on the verge of making it, and they go into therapy in order to keep themselves from breaking up. Comedy will (hopefully) ensue. Dave Grohl’s contribution, whether small acting parts or even sound track work, is not fully known. But I’m still declaring it the best show of 2012.
